Materials:
• Premier Antipilling Parchment (Color A) and Baby Pink (color B) worsted weight yarn. You will use about 4.5 oz. of Baby Pink and about 1.5 oz. of Parchment
• Crochet hook: 4.5 mm [US G/7] for top and 5.00 mm [US H-8] for skirt Thread and needle to attach button
• One small button 5/8 in (16mm) either in baby pink color or dark beige
• Ruler
• Stitch marker recommended for beginners
Gauge: 15 stitches = 4 inches; 7 rows =4" in DC. Use any hook size to obtain this gauge.
Abbreviations:
• ch - chain
• sp - space
• sk - skip
• st - stitch
• sl st - slip stitch
• sc - single crochet
• hdc - half double crochet
• blo- back loop only
• hdc V st- half double crochet V stitch (1 hdc, ch 1, 1 hdc in the same st)
• dc - double crochet
• sc3tog - (single crochet 3 stitches together, optional for top of neck opening)
• dc V st- double crochet V stitch (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc worked in the same st)
• shell st – shell stitch (2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc worked in the same space or stitch)
• large shell st - (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc worked into the to the same space or stitch, this is for the last round only),
• *= repeat whatever follows the* as indicated.
Notes:
1. Ch 1 (or 2) at the beginning of each round does not count as a stitch unless specified. The first st of each row should be made at the base of the ch 1.
2. Weave in ends or bury in ends as you work.
3. Measure chest when you finish Row 5 to make sure that you are getting the correct chest measurement.
4. Make V sts into the ch 1 space of the V st from previous round
5. I used a 4.5 mm hook for the top. Going up a hook size will create a larger dress.
6. You will begin working in rounds after row number 3 (to close the button opening)
7. Pattern is written in US terms (as described on the listing)

Ch 1, 1 dc in the same sp that you just ch 1, 1 dc in the next 10 sts, 1 dc V st into the ch 1 sp of the dc V st from previous round, ch 2, sk all sc from previous round, 1 dc v st into the ch 1 of the dc V st from previous round, (first arm hole formed), 1 dc in the next 22 sts, 1 dc V st into the ch 1 sp of the dc V st from previous round, ch 2, sk all sc from previous round, 1 dc V st into the ch 1 of the dc V st from previous round, (second arm hole formed), 1 dc in the next 11 sts. Sl st on top of first dc to end this round.

With the back of dress facing you, attach pink yarn to the upper, left corner (across from the buttonhole).

Headband Instructions
Row 1
Ch 48, sl st on the first st to work around. Ch 2, 1 shell st in the same ch 2 st. *sk 2 sts, 1 dc, sk 2 sts, 1 shell st. Repeat from* all the way around. Sl st on top of ch 2 to end this round.

Row 2
(round two is just like row one, but on the top) Turn headband up, attach yarn on top, ch 2, *make a shell st in the base of each shell st, make a dc on the base of each dc. Repeat from all the way around. (8 shell sts, 7dc sts). See picture at the end.

Finishing
· Weave in any end that you may have forgotten.
· Sew the button on the back.
· Attach the flower.
